Help is always needed at TALK meetings and drop-in/ open studios, plus, there are some really cool events coming up that we need teens for as well as adult mentors for (e.g. Teen Battle of the Bands, a Fine Art show and Auction, Teens TALK and more...).
Whether you choose every-other week, once monthly or just periodically at our events, your help is essential. Here's what you get:
- It feels great to do good for area teens
- It's really cool to be a positive resource in our community
- Plus being around teens makes you younger... its been clinically proven.

TALK (the Theatre & Arts Leadership Kouncil) is a teen-led organization that works to inspire leadership among youth through the arts. Teenagers (12-18) come together to use their various talents to plan and execute arts-based events within Chicago's south suburban area. TALK provides a space for incubating these events, as well as just a healthy, creative place to do homework or hang with friends. Older teens are assisted with providing direction to younger teens and TALK's Adult Mentors assist and guide all of the teens in personalized, supportive ways.
